Background

Nikolay has 20+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Project and Risk Management. In his role at Project Consulting, he’s responsible for the networking strategy, client relationship management, and trading.

In the last six years, he’s been fully engaged in the field of environmental commodity markets:

2018 - 2022

CFO & CRO at Aleva Holding (Nvalue Group), a power trading and guarantees of origin trading company, In this role, he developed and implemented the Finance corporate structure on Group level, secured external funding, developed and applied FX hedging strategy, developed a transfer pricing policy and risk policy, created and implemented Credit and Market Risk (Value at Risk tool). He was also responsible for daily monitoring and control of the risk exposure on portfolio and company level.

2022

Risk Management Consultant at a company acting on the energy transition market, trading with biofuels, guarantees of origin. He developed and implemented a Risk Management policy (credit and market risk), as well as key processes on a company level.

2023

Performed financial modelling and financial management at one of the biggest Bulgarian PV plants builders.
